It is the central mystery of creation, and I won’t attempt to solve it as though it were a problem to be solved. Instead, I want to embrace this mystery with you. I want to delight in this stunning truth that God loves us, that He wants to be with us, that He has come to be with us in Jesus. Why? That’s just the kind of God that He is. And maybe if you got to know Him a little bit, His character, His personality, His plans, His aspirations, maybe if you got to know Him, you would be as interested in being with Him as He is with you.
