God’s love is neither shallow nor weak. In love, God sent His dear Son among us to rescue us from sin and death, and Jesus did that for us through His suffering and death. If we believe in Him, we will also suffer in life for the sake of love, but we do not suffer alone or in vain. God works good for us and others as we remain faithful to Jesus through temptations, unjust treatment, and life’s common sorrows.
