It has been a couple of months since we last worshiped together and many people are asking about when services will begin again. This is a difficult question to answer and the final decision will hinge on the guidelines put in place by the Provincial Health Authority. The Board of Directors is keeping tabs on the information being released by the Province, and this information will be used to help us determine when is the appropriate time to start with Worship Services.

The health of our congregation and the health of all people is of prime concern, and safety will be paramount in the decision of when to open up for services again. When services do begin, things are likely to look a little different, as social distancing measures will likely still be in place, and these measures will be applied to worship services, for the safety of all parishioners. The Covid-19 pandemic in BC has not been nearly as sever in BC as it has been in many other areas of the world. We thank all people who have taken it seriously, and followed the health guidelines for the safety of all people. It appears that the Provincial Health Authority is now taking steps to loosen restrictions over the coming weeks and months. We will continue to monitor this, and abide by the regulations that have been put in place.

In the meantime, there are still online worship services being generated by Pastor Fraser. These can be found on this website, and on Facebook. The Lutheran Hour messages will also be posted on a weekly basis, and we hope that these resources are a blessing to you. Alleluia, Christ is risen. He is risen indeed.

Peace be with you all.
