Loaves and Fishes is a volunteer run organisation that supplies food to people in need. Food depots are set up throughout the city on different days of the week to service different areas of the city of Nanaimo.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is one of the depots. Food is normally distributed every Monday morning at 10am. The members of St. Paul’s also serve coffee and snacks during this time. Any members of the community who wish to receive food through the Loaves and Fishes program are welcome to come to the west entrance of the church basement on Monday mornings.
All food recipients must be registered in the Loaves and Fishes program to be eligible to receive food donations. Registration can be completed at the church.
